Built in bra dresses, tops and a bodysuit, all in black

Nothing to wear underneath. That is the whole point of this range: the cups are sewn into the garment, so a built in bra dress or top does the work the bra was doing. Every piece is black, XS to XL. Modal on the soft styles, a firmer nylon and polyester on the Pant and the outerwear.

The dresses

The Villain Maxi is the one to start with, a black long sleeve maxi dress with thumbholes at the cuff, a scoop neck, double lining and the cups already in it. The modal has enough stretch to move in and enough weight to keep its shape, and it resists wrinkling, which matters on a dress that lives in a suitcase for a weekend. The Villain Slip is the lighter answer: a black slip dress with a square neckline, adjustable straps, double lining through the body, and cups you can pull out when you would rather they were not there. The Maxi is the evening one. The Slip goes anywhere, which is why it sells first.

Tops and the bodysuit

The Villain Top is mid length and long sleeved, double lined, cups removable. It goes under a jacket on a Tuesday and asks nothing of you. The Villain Bodysuit pushes the same idea further: a black long sleeve bodysuit with a scoop neck, thumbholes, a snap gusset and a high leg cut, in a nylon and spandex main with a polyester lining. It stays where you put it.

The rest of the outfit

The Villain Pant is a pair of black straight leg pants, mid waist, 95 percent polyester with 5 percent spandex, split hems, cut long enough that heels earn their place. The Villain Maxi Skirt is asymmetric and floor length with a keyhole at the side. Jackets sit in the outerwear range.

What Villains means here

Villains is the name Lociónne gives this capsule, not a description of what is in it. These are black dresses, tops and a bodysuit with bra cups sewn in, plus the Villain Pant and two skirts. Shapewear worn under a dress is a different thing: here the support is part of the garment.

Which Villains pieces have a bra built in?

The Slip, the Maxi, the Halter Dress, the Villain Top, the Boxy Tank, the Halter Tank and the Bodysuit all have bra cups built into the garment. On the Slip, the Top, the Boxy Tank, the Halter Tank and the Bodysuit those cups are removable. The Villain Pant, the two skirts and the outerwear pieces have no cups.

Can I wear them without a bra?

That is what the range is for. The pieces with cups built in are made to be worn on their own, so there is nothing to hide under a strap.

What are the Villains pieces made from?

The Slip, the Maxi, the Halter Dress, the Boxy Tank and the Halter Tank are modal. The Bodysuit has a nylon and spandex main with a polyester lining. The Villain Pant is 95 percent polyester with 5 percent spandex. The Puffer and the Vest have a crushed velvet like exterior with a fleece lined inner, and the Villain Skirt uses that same exterior with a premium lining.
