Choose Phantom Pocket for its elastic-free tapered waistband, or Wrap Pocket for the V-shaped front. In the two pairs compared here, Phantom Carbon is also an inch longer through the inside leg than Wrap Amalfi Blue. The fabric composition is the same.

The short version

Both pairs have side pockets and no front seam. Start with the waistband you prefer, compare the 26-inch and 25-inch inseams, then use the size chart. A different waistband shape is not a reason on its own to change your size.

Phantom Pocket vs Wrap Pocket leggings: the useful differences

This comparison is between the Phantom Pocket Legging in Carbon and the Wrap Pocket Legging in Amalfi Blue. These are the details listed for those two colourways.

Detail Phantom, Carbon Wrap, Amalfi Blue
Waistband Elastic-free, tapered V-shaped wrap

Look at the waistband with your usual top

The Phantom has a tapered waistband described as elastic-free. The Wrap has a V-shaped wrap front. Start with the front photographs, where you can see the shape you are choosing.

Then think about the top you wear most. A shorter top leaves the waistband visible; a longer one covers more of it. If the V is the detail you want to show, Wrap is the clear choice.

Prefer the Phantom's shape? Choose that. There is no need to turn a visual preference into a claim that one cut suits every body better.

The one-inch difference is worth measuring

Phantom Carbon lists a 26-inch inseam, about 66cm. Wrap Amalfi Blue lists 25 inches, or 63.5cm. The difference is 2.54cm.

Measure the inside leg of a pair you already reach for. That gives you something concrete to compare with, especially if you have a strong preference for where the hem finishes.

Both product records name the same model: Karen, AU 8, 168cm tall, wearing size S. A useful reference when you look at the photographs. It does not mean everyone of that height needs an S or gets the same ankle length.

You are choosing the cut, with the same listed blend

Both pairs list 70% UMORFIL® Bionic Nylon and 30% spandex. Both have side pockets and no front seam. Phantom's notes also mention an extended gusset; Wrap's describe curved back seams.

So the fabric percentages and the presence of pockets will not settle this choice. Spend your attention on the waistband and inseam.

If you meant the softer lounge pieces rather than these leggings, the modal fabric guide covers that separate range and its fabric weights.

Two checks before you choose

The size chart. Both pairs link to the same bottoms chart. Use your measurements there, or compare them with the published guidance in the size calculator. The V-shaped front alone does not tell you to size up or down.

And check the full product name. Wrap Flare in Carbon is a separate style with a listed 32-inch flare cut. It is a very different length from the 25-inch Wrap Pocket pair above, despite sharing the word Wrap.

Keep that distinction in mind when browsing the leggings collection. The product name, front photograph and inseam should all match the pair you intend to choose.

Find your preferred cut

Start with the waistband. Check the inseam before choosing your size.
